Hairbreadth's Difference
Hairbreadth's Difference
As someone has well said, "there is a hairbreadth's difference between success and failure". Just as the immediate aim of a candidate is to find a suitable lucrative job commensurate with his academic qualifications and skills, employers, with no dearth of money, similarly are constantly on the lookout for just the "Mr Right". Money usually is no constraint for most of them. They may have hundreds of applications with degrees and degrees but unfortunately, degrees by themselves do not turn into profitability or productivity. Instead there are certain qualities which obviously do the trick.
How does an employer know whether a particular candidate possesses the desired qualities or not? And how could the former distinguish between one and the other candidate who appear for the interview? It is precisely because of this that interviews are held with a view to pick out the most suitable candidate. It has often been observed that even a candidate with an IIT or MBA degree and good educational background may perform poorly at interviews. What then are the qualities one needs to emerge successful.
