The eighth All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEE 2010) is for the admission in B.E./B.Tech. and B.Arch./B. Planning in various National Level Institutes like NITs, IITs, Deemed Universities and government funded institutions and States i.e. Haryana and Uttaranchal will be held on 26Th April, 2010 all over India and abroad.

B.E/B.TECH/B.ARCH./B. ENTRANCE EXAM - Scheme of Examination:

Entrance examination would consist of two papers:


1st paper:

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of equal weightage with objective type questions for BE/B.Tech courses

2nd Paper:

It consist Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing for B. Architecture and B. Planning. The Aptitude Test is designed to evaluate candidate’s perception, imagination, observation, creativity and architectural awareness.

B.E/B.TECH/B.ARCH./B. ENTRANCE EXAM - Eligibility:


1. 10+2 pass or result waiting student can apply.
2. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
3. Those appearing in 10+2 in 2010 are not eligible to appear in AIEEE-2010.


Course – B.E/B.TECH

1. Physics & Mathematics compulsory
2. Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science Biology have combinational subject.

Course- B.ARCH/B. PLANNING


1. Mathematics with 50% marks in 10+2.
2. It is as per decision of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
3. The candidates passed +2 to exam in 2007, 2008 or appearing in +2 in 2010 are only eligible to appear in AIEEE-2010. Candidates passed +2 in 2006 or before or appearing in 2010 are not eligible to appear in AIEEE-2010.


B.E/B.TECH/B.ARCH./B. ENTRANCE EXAM - Date of Birth:

Birth date should be after October 01, 1984, is eligible (5 years concession for SC/ST/PH).
Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

AIEEE will be conducted on the following dates as:

9:30 AM -12:30 AM - Paper 1 - Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

2:00 PM -5:00 PM - Paper 2 Mathematics- Part I Aptitude Test-PartII & Drawing Test-Part III

Online:

Application can be submitted Online during 05.12.2008 to 05.01 .2010, Payment of Fee could be made by Demand Draft, Credit Card or Challan Form. More details about the online submission of forms can be had from http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2010/exam09/online/instruction.aspx

Offline:

Information Bulletin containing Application Form can be had by post from the CBSE or personally from Regional Offices of CBSE, Designated Institutions and the Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank and other Banks specified in http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2010/exam09/available.htm
