Since July 15,2003, DD Sports is a free-to-air channel, having footprints in 34 countries of Asia, Africa and Europe. DD Sports telecast wide ranging sports and games live.
Especially, (he cricket matches organized by the BCCI are the most common show in the channel. Moreover, other sporting events like football, hockey, tennis, badminton, etc., with special emphasis on promoting Indian sports like Kho Kho and Kabaddi, are also telecast.
