Directorate of Field Publicity
Directorate of Field Publicity was established in 1953 to publicize national planning and development through its mobile units. Its activities are directed in publicizing the Plans among the people and creating the necessary enthusiasm for their successful fulfillment. Field Publicity mobile units are the chief means of this kind of publicity campaign, which arrange film shows, photo exhibitions, public meetings, seminars, group discussion etc. The Directorate has its head office in New Delhi and 22 regional offices throughout the country.
