Over the years, chemical industry has achieved spectacular growth because of its wide applications in various fields like fertilizers, agro-chemicals, insecticides, cement, plastics, textiles, pharmaceuticals, papers etc. The products based on chemical engineering process have entered in every aspect of human activity, contributing in remarkable way to improve the quality of life.

Seeing the expansion of chemical industry and requirement of trained manpower for the same, a three years diploma course in chemical engineering with an intake capacity of 30 students was introduced.

This course has been designed to provide in depth knowledge of the principles of chemical operation and latest techniques applicable to various industries.
