Ministry of Human Resources & Development, Government of India, has entrusted the central coordination of admission under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme to NITK Surathkal, Mangalore, Karnataka, India, says a press release issued by the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

Admissions are open for foreign nationals/persons of Indian origin (PIOs)/non-resident Indians (NRIs) under DASA Scheme for the Academic Year 2010-11 to various National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other premier Institutes. Details are available on www.nitk.ac.in. Attention of all interested students is drawn to the revised procedure of drawing up the merit list for allotment of branches and institutes based on Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT II) subject scores only (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Level 2).
