Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC) invites for the admission in MBBS at Pune for 2010 .
MBBS Admission - How to apply:
Application form can be taken by the payment of 250/- per copy. It can be send by post from Officer-in-Charge (Admission Cell), Armed Forces Medical College
MBBS Admission - Requirements:
- Bank draft of the nationalized bank payable at Pune in favour of Commandant, AFMC, Pune. With the postal address of the candidate on two separate slips of paper (size 9cms x 5 cms.)
- Demand Draft bears the code number of the issuing bank.
- Candidate must write his/her name & address on the back of the Demand Draft.
- Address and enclose a self addressed envelope of 11″ x 13″ size and affix postage stamp of Rs. 55/-.
- Request for prospectus to be sent by post will be accepted from 22 Dec 2008 to 28 Jan 2010
MBBS ADMISSION - Eligibility:
- Must be an Indian or be a subject of
- Must be unmarried and marrying between course is not allowed.
- Medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence
- Must be 17 years old till 31st Dec of the year of application and must not more than 22 years old.
- 24 years oldness is for those students. Who are giving the exams and waiting for the result.
MBBS ADMISSION - Academic Qualifications:
- Must have passed the all subjects in the first attempt of the qualifying exams as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- No less than 60% marks in 3 science subjects.
- No less tan 50% marks in English and 50% marks in science subjects.
- Passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard.
MBBS ADMISSION - Number of Seats:
A total of 130 students (105 boys & 25 girls) will be admitted.
MBBS ADMISSION - Syllabus:
The general syllabus is for the entrance exam. That is of 11th and 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board/Indian University.
