MBA ADMISSION- ADMISSION DETAILS:


Number of Seats Available: 120

15% reserved for Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals and Non Resident Indians (NRIs). 5% reserved for Children of Indian workers of Gulf countries and South East Asia.


MBA ADMISSION- Eligibility:

3 years bachelor degree (10+2+3) from any discipline with 50% from recognized university or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in the final examination of a bachelor’s degree can also apply.


MBA ADMISSION- Admission Procedure:

Application Form:

1. Application forms can be directly taken from the Institute by sending a DD for Rs. 1500/- or can be downloaded from and send the filled-in application form along with a DD for Rs.1500/- in favour of Institute of Management, Nirma University payable at Ahmedabad addressed to:

2. Applications forms can also be obtained from different centers of IMS Learning Resource, T.I.M.E and from selected branches of AXIS Bank

3. The candidates can also download application from the website and send the filled-in application form along with a DD for Rs.1500/-.


Candidates in the category of Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals and Non Resident Indians (NRIs)/Children of Indian workers of Gulf countries and South East Asia. Should enclose a bank draft for US$ 50 or Rs.2000/- drawn in favour of “Institute of Management’ ‘Nirma University’ and payable at Ahmedabad along with the completed application form.



MBA ADMISSION- Selection Process:

MBA ADMISSION- Two steps :

Written Test:

Appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs which will be held on 16th November 2008.


MBA ADMISSION- Group Discussion and Personal Interview:

Short-listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion/personal interview will be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, and New Delhi. The final selection to the programme would be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test, group discussion, personal interview and work experience.

The following weightage will be given for each component of the selection criteria :

Written Test : 70%

Personal Interview : 20%

Group Discussion : 10%


10 points for work experience.
