Indian Nursing Council invited for the admission in Ph.D. in Nursing 2010 . National Consortium For Ph.D In Nursing by Indian Nursing Council In collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
National consortium for Ph.D. has been constituted by Indian Nursing Council (INC) in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, under the Faculty of Nursing and W.H.O. to promote doctoral Education in Nursing.


Ph.D ADMISSION - IMPORTANT DATES:

Date of Notification: 07th November, 2008
Last Date of Receipt of Filled in Application Forms at the nodal centre:15th December 2008

Ph.D ADMISSION - Last Date of issue of admit card of entrance test from

NIMHANS by post: 31st December 2008

Date of Entrance Test: 24th January 2010

Declaration of Result (after 5:30 pm): 06th February 2010
Intimation from the univ. to the candidates for provisional admission: 20th February 2010
Last Date of Admission: 13th March, 2010 (up to 4.00 pm)
Last date of admission with late fees: 20th March, 2010 (up to 4:00 pm)
In case a candidate does not join the course up to 13tht March 2010 his/her seat will be declared vacant and will be offered to other candidates from the merit list.

Closure of Admissions for the session 2008-09: 31st March 2010

Ph.D ADMISSION - ELIGIBILITY:
.
(a) M.Phil/M.Sc (Nursing) or a Post Graduate degree in nursing recognized by INC, for enrolment for Ph.D in Nursing (part-time) under Faculty of Nursing RGUHS.
(b) The candidates should have passed M.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 60% marks.


Ph.D ADMISSION - CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:

i. Merit in the entrance test (90 marks)
ii. Candidates Obtaining M.Phil in nursing (5 marks)
iii. Publications (5 marks)
Selection will be made by the Ph.D consortium and the decision of the consortium shall be final

Application form may be submitted along with D.D of Rs. 2000/-drawn in favour of Nodal officer, Nodal Centre, National Ph.D consortium in Nursingn payable at Bangalore Duly filled in application form has to be submitted to the nodal centre on or before 15th December 2008 by 4:00 p.m. to the following address:
