Directorate of Medical Education, Government Of Tamilnadu invites the application form for the admission to Diploma in Nursing Course for 2008-2010 Session from the eligible Women candidates.


DIPLOMA IN NURSING ADMISSION - Eligibility:

1. Candidate should be between 17 and 30 years (35 years for SC/ST).
2. OC,BC,BCM,and MBC Candidates should clear the 10+2 from the recognized board 40% in any subjects are eligible to apply (5 % relaxation for SC/ST).
3. Candidates should have studied Tamil as the First Language and English as the Second Language.

DIPLOMA IN NURSING ADMISSION - Application Procedure:

Application form can be taken by the payment of 200/- in favor of Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai. The Demand Draft should have been issued by any of the Nationalised Banks only and dated not earlier than 10-12-2008 and should be payable at Chennai.

Application and Prospectus also can be obtained from the web-site (http.: www.tnhealth.org.) and submitted to the Selection Committee along with Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai-10. SC/ST candidates are exempted from submission of the Demand Draft.

DIPLOMA IN NURSING ADMISSION - Important dates:

Sale of Application:10.12.2008 10.30 A.M. To 20.12.2008 upto 3.00 P.M.

Last Date for submission of the application on 20.12.2008 Upto 5.00P.M.

The women Candidates should to fill the application form the Training Centres mentioned in Para. Sending the postal stamps to the value of Rs.60/- with self-addressed envelope along with the Demand Draft for Rs.200/- being the cost of application, drawn in favour of the Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai-10. SC/ST candidates need not send the Demand Draft, but they have to send attested copy of community certificate.
