BioInformatics National Certification(BINC) Examination 2010 will be held at 21-22 February 2010. The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India has instituted this examination with an objective to certify Bioinformatics professionals and to facilitate industries and potential employers for recruitment. Govt.of India to coordinate this examination along with six centres namely:]

Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi;

Anna University, Chennai;

West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata;

Institute of Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology, Bangalore;

North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong and

University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.


BIOTECHNOLOGY ENTERANCE EXAM - Eligibility:

1. Graduate in Science, Agriculture, Veterinary, Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology
2. They need not have any formal training viz., certificate, diploma or degree in Bioinformatics.
3. Final year of bachelor degree are also eligible.
4. International students are also eligible to apply.

BIOTECHNOLOGY ENTERANCE EXAM - Application fee:

Rs. 600 for General category, Rs. 450 for Reserved category and US$100 for foreign students.

Demand Draft drawn in favour of: Registrar, University of Pune, Payable at Pune. (Nationalised Bank Only)

Send the hard copy of the duly filled signed application form along with demand draft, two passport size photographs and caste certificate to the following address:
